Compliance management system in the ENETIQA Group

In all of their activities in the Czech Republic both ENETIQA a.s. and the entire ENETIQA Group put a lot of emphasis on compliance with legal rules and ethical standards. For this purpose a compliance management system has been implemented in all ENETIQA Group companies in the Czech Republic.

The compliance management system defines and provides guidance on the compliance with ethical and legal rules of conduct of ENETIQA a.s. and its employees not only in business relationships but also in other areas of its activities and existence.

Its aim is to achieve legal compliance for all business and internal processes in all ENETIQA Group companies by setting appropriate internal management and control mechanisms.

The compliance management system is not only limited to the Group's external relations (customer relations, supplier relations, etc.), but also applies to all other activities within the ENETIQA Group.

In doing so, ENETIQA Group unambiguously and publicly declares that its conduct complies with all requirements of applicable legal and ethical rules in particular for:
  • economic competition
  • financial and tax issues
  • employee relations, including equal opportunities
  • data protection
  • occupational health and safety
  • combating corruption
  • environmental protection
To ensure compliance with the aforementioned values the organizational structure of the ENETIQA Group in the Czech Republic includes an appointed Compliance Manager.

The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring conformity to the rules of the compliance management system within the ENETIQA Group; among other things, they provide advice to the employees of the ENETIQA Group in all matters regarding the compliance management system and, based on the relevant measures, further develops awareness of the importance of compliance among the staff of all ENETIQA Group companies.

ENETIQA a.s. and the entire ENETIQA Group are convinced that the stability, economic prosperity and good reputation of the Group are sustainable in the long term if each of their employees acts in accordance with the rules of the compliance management system.

These voluntarily adopted rules form an integral part of the ENETIQA Group and are essential to decision making within the Group. Activities that are included under the compliance management system therefore contribute to the fulfilment of the ENETIQA Group's strategic objectives and are a part of the general effort to strengthen the influence of compliance on the functioning and management of the trading companies.
